CCS is an older fandom for me. I haven't played with it in ages, but I usually enjoy going back to revisit older fandoms.

♥ Sakura/Syaoran - I tend towards canon ships, and this is no exception. Syaoran's shy, stammering attempts to confess to Sakura amused me to no end, and it always made me giggle when he would get interrupted. It's another case of "This is just cute!"

♥ Eriol/Tomoyo - My very first non-canon ship. They're both pretty, both rich, both scarily domestic, and both might be slightly evil. They wound up being my favorite CCS pairing, and incidently, it was because of this pairing that I wound up joining LJ :D

♥ Touya/Yukito - This is one I've grown to appreciate more as I've grown in fandom. When I was into CCS, I was still a comparatively young fandom-goer, and the idea of shounen ai was still a little bit foreign to me. In hindsight, I think it's very sweet, and Touya's concern and willingness to give up his magic has me sold.

(Honorable mention to Fujitaka/Nadeshiko.)


Regarding Layton/Claire: if they eff up the localization and the voice acting on that scene at the end of the third game, where "Jikan Ryoko" is playing? Baby Jesus will cry, and I might start something on fire.

♥Syaoran/Sakura: is/was my favorite pairing forever... I actually have trouble with it now because of TRC. Go Tsubasa, ruining an old favorite for me. >> I'm going to start playing Syaoran in an RP though. XD

♥Eriol/Tomoyo: ME TOO I JOINED LJ BECAUSE OF ERIOL/TOMOYO. At least, I came back to it. A shipper found me writing on ff.net and invited me to a community here. I still write the pairing, but rarely.

♥Touya/Yukito: I had the same problem and then I was rereading again recently and I was just struck by how deeply they cared for each other. It's really lovely, all the things they say and do not say in the story.

(Fujitaka/Nadeshiko....... All I can say is that I wish Nadeshiko wasn't dead because they are the cutest thing ever.)



I haven't seen the Japanese ending, but if it sucks, I will cry too. ;;
